As Northern Virginia’s only pediatric tertiary-care center for children, Inova Fairfax Hospital offers a full range of specialties in pediatric care, including bone marrow transplants, treatment of kidney disease, cancer care and cardiac/pulmonary care. Inova also provides the area’s largest Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our Child Life Services program helps patients and their families cope with the stress and anxiety associated with a hospital stay through bedside visits, pet therapy, play time and education. The region’s only two dedicated pediatric emergency departments are located at Inova Fairfax and Inova Loudoun Hospitals.
